Spring Showcase Events 2018
NUA Home School will hold its fifth annual Student Showcase on the last day of Spring 2018 enrichment classes. The showcase will give students the opportunity to share academic projects, visual arts, and performance arts that they are proud of, and also offer inspiration to other Home School families.
As students complete projects or performances this semester, think about what your child might like to share with the NUA community. See below for more details.

Work can be displayed on a science board or placed in a binder. Examples of work include: science projects, unit studies, writing projects, research projects, building projects, real-world math applications, or any other work that you would like to share with the NUA Home School community.
Performing arts includes music, dance, and theater. This showcase will be limited to 12 students, and each performance will be limited to three minutes. There will be a scheduled time for students to perform for the NUA community.
Students may enter any visual arts pieces including paintings, sculptures, drawings, etc. We will have a designated area to display works of art for all to enjoy.
Student Entrepreneur Fair
Students will have the opportunity to sell handmade items, and learn about becoming an entrepreneur in the process. We know many of our NUA homeschoolers are skilled at sewing, knitting, woodworking, etc. We hope this will get our little entrepreneurs thinking about what it takes to be an entrepreneur, as well as generate ideas about setting a price, labor, overhead cost, marketing and branding. Please let your EA know your child’s “business name” and the items he or she will be selling.
Please bring a dish to pass that feeds 4-5 people. Please label your dish if common allergens are present (nuts, dairy, eggs, sesame, soy)
