Information for Prospective Families
Are you new to NUA or homeschooling in general?
The decision to home school your child is a big one. Equip yourself with all the facts, so you can make the right decision for your child and your family. Check out some FAQs, and feel free to contact us any time with questions. NUA Home School education advisors will work with you to ensure you are well informed and enthusiastic to begin this next step in your child’s education.
NUA is proud to partner with parents on their homeschooling journey. We offer high levels of customer service and support to assist you in choosing curriculum, pacing out your school year, interpreting assessment results, and completing paperwork.
In order to further support you, NUA offers up to $3,000 in Instructional Funds for students who enroll by September 30th (actual funding allotments are adjusted based on enrollment date) and $395 in free online subscription programs. NUA has a wide range of materials and instructional vendors from which you may order.

Please find the online home school admissions application and follow these steps:
- Enter your email address to create an account.
- Choose NUA Lakeside and the correct school year.
- Select your program of interest; Orange County, Riverside, or San Diego
The following documents are required for NUA Home School enrollment.
These documents may be scanned and uploaded directly to your application or emailed to our Enrollment Department at firstname.lastname@example.org
